Photo Transfer Ornaments
I'm a little late posting this very cool ornament project but it's never too late to learn how to use Mod Podge Photo Transfer! I wanted to create two ornaments for our tree this year. One to remember our late Tater who passed back in May and one for our little Winston. I truly loved how these turned out!
STEP 1: Cut out each picture to fit the surface you chose.
STEP 2: Place the picture on the wax paper (face up) and apply the photo transfer formula to the front of the image (yes, you heard me right :-) It seems unnatural but trust me).
STEP 3: Next, place the photo that's been coated face down on the surface. Make sure to move your fingers across the image to remove any bubbles.
STEP 4: Wait 24 hours (I know... it sucks to wait so long, but it will be worth it!)
STEP 5: Take a damp sponge and start lightly rubbing the surface of the paper until you start to see little pieces of it coming off. You'll start to see the image coming through on wood surface! Continue rubbing until the entire image is exposed.
STEP 6: Hang your new favorite ornaments on your tree and enjoy!
